The estimate on this page is a real range built from our own pricing, not a guess. It covers the glass or screen material, the fabrication, and the work to fit it. It is shown before tax.
It is a range rather than a single number because every opening is a little different, and because we have not seen yours yet. Once we measure, you get one exact price and that is the price. There is no charge for the measurement.
Glass is priced by area, so dimensions drive most of it. On screens the difference between rescreening an existing frame and building a new one is significant.
Tempered, insulated and Low-E coated glass all cost more than plain annealed glass, and code requires tempered in doors, showers and anywhere close to the floor.
Keeping an existing window frame or shower hardware and replacing only the glass is almost always the cheaper path, and it is usually possible.
Screens, mirrors and smaller pieces brought to the shop on Lewis Street are simpler than work that has to be done at height or on site.
It will not give you a timeline. Glass is made to order, and how long it takes depends on what has to come in. We would rather tell you honestly when we know than promise a day we cannot hold.
