Contemporary glass furniture for residential and commercial projects — custom-cut tabletops, shelves, and surfaces finished to the highest standard.
A glass top protects a surface you care about and changes how it reads in a room. On a dresser or a desk it takes the wear that would otherwise land on the wood. On a dining or coffee table it can be the surface itself.
We cut to your template, not to stock sizes. Rectangles, rounds, ovals and shapes taken off the actual piece of furniture, with the edges finished so they are safe to touch and pleasant to look at.
A quarter inch is standard for protective tops over an existing surface. Three eighths is heavier and is the usual choice for larger tops and where the glass is the table surface rather than a cover on it.
Ordinary glass carries a slight green cast, most visible at the edges and over light-coloured surfaces. Low iron glass is much closer to colourless, which matters when it sits over a pale wood or a painted finish.
A flat polished edge is clean and smooth on all sides. A bevel adds a shallow angled face around the perimeter that catches light. Both are safe to handle, which a raw cut edge is not.
The same work applies to replacement shelving, cabinet fronts and display glass, cut to the opening you actually have rather than the one the catalogue assumes.
