Broken pane? Window gone cloudy? Shower door cracked, or a screen the dog went through? We have been fixing glass for this valley for 36 years, and most repairs are simpler and cheaper than people expect.
A rock off the mower, a ladder that slipped, a branch in a windstorm. We measure the opening, order the right glass, and set it so it seals properly. Tempered safety glass where code calls for it, like doors and anything low to the floor.
That haze between the panes means the seal on the insulated unit has gone. In most cases we replace just the glass and keep your existing frame, which costs a lot less than a whole new window. Low-E coatings available to cut heat and glare.
Cracked shower panels replaced, and full custom enclosures built when you are ready for one. Torn screens get rescreened with fresh mesh, and we build new frames when the old one is past saving.

If wiping both sides does not clear it, the moisture is sealed inside the glass unit and the seal has failed. Nothing is wrong with your frame or your window as a whole. This is the most common call we get, and it is usually a glass swap, not a window replacement.
Cracks spread, especially through Idaho freeze and thaw cycles. A hairline in November is often a full break by spring. If the glass is holding for now, tape is fine as a stopgap, but get the size to us so we can order the replacement.
That is tempered safety glass doing exactly what it is designed to do. It is required in doors, shower enclosures, and glass near the floor, so the replacement has to be tempered too. Tempered glass is made to size and cannot be cut afterward, which is why measurements matter.
Sometimes that is a failed seal, sometimes it is single pane glass in an older Valley home, and sometimes it is the window itself at the end of its life. Worth a look before you spend money on the wrong fix. If new windows genuinely are the answer we carry Kolbe, and we will tell you either way.
